You opted for the BoB end game and now you're bored, it's all you.
I'm still entertaining myself and I'll be sure to enjoy talking my character for a walk.

So yes I don't like Ambulation because it's wasting resources, resources which should go in improving this game, which has so many parts broken. If I would want a character which could walk/emote/cyborz I would of played another game.
Now regarding lag, CCP had failed in 2 years to provide any real solution. If CCP would had informed us that they can't do anything about lag and not dangle in front of us the "need for speed" many of us would had left.
Now we have "Infiniband", then we have " super computer" ...
This game is about destroying ships...if we can't do that, please tell us and we will let you go on with your walking, eating, drinking in stations.
Ehmm I don't know how many times we need to repeat this!
The people working on 'Ambulation' is a completely different team then the original EVE dev team. The latter one is still the same and the same resources are still working on improving EVE itself!
The team working on 'Ambulation' are specilised in working on just that, so it would INDEED be a waste of resources if they had to be trained into working on EVE and thus also wasting time on those DEV's then busy training them.
Next to that, more DEV's in a team doesn't automatically improve the quality and amount of fixing! You can have just that many people working on the same code at once ;) Also something people fail to see nor comprehent!
L.E.A.R.N. to read all the articles about Ambulation first! Before bashing a feature you appearently know NOTHING about!
Second, they have stated so many times that Ambulation will be COMPLETELY OPTIONAL! Will run on a COMPLETELY SEPERATE environment! And thus NOT interfering with the Tranquility cluster itself and using her resources!
*SIGH* These anti-Ambulation threads become sillier each day
But but but... There will be less people who are not looking to PvP in space to gank.

A lot of us don't give a flying copulation about having avatars beyond portraits.
We signed up for a massive internet spaceship game and we want internet spaceships on a massive scale. Not hello kittay online.
I'm a two, pushing three year vet, and unsurprisingly, I'm with the OP.
I'd rather have broken things fixed and performance improved than ambulation.
I signed up for an MMO with a massive market, including a stockmarket, a black market and an ability to work the scenes using a strong charisma attribute to my advantage, so far it's been gank, gank, gank and gank.
What you percieved EVE to be isn't necessarily what everyone else imagined.

Then I guess I wasn't speaking for you then. But what does that have to do with the subject this thread is about?
It has to do with EVE becoming what the devs can and will do with it and maybe a little influenced by their customers sane arguments. Not what the 'I wants MOAR kittens with pew pew oh noes !!!111eleventy1 some1 is taking our shit!!! IT'S CAPS OBEY ME!' mindlocked blob of simpletons think EVE should be.

It's generally nothing like that. Most of us who don't give a crap about ambulation want broken things fixed. We don't want more stuff. Just working stuff.
It's not the same people working on both.

He didn't get it when those other 19 guys said it. But you? You're special.
I am legend.
I tried a novel approach saying the same thing, I still couldn't bypass the firewall so I went back to blunt force trauma.
